What is Ozone?
Ozone is a colorless, unstable gas with a pungent odor and powerful oxidizing properties, formed from oxygen by electrical discharges or ultraviolet light. It differs from normal oxygen (O2) in having three atoms in its molecule (O3).
The first Ozone Generator was invented by Werner von Siemens in Germany in 1857. It has been studied since then with therapeutic uses for bacterial, viral and fungal infections. In September 1896, the electrical genius Nikola Tesla patented his first ozone generator, and in 1900 he formed the Tesla Ozone Co. Tesla sold ozone machines and ozonated olive oil to doctors for medical use.
Today, after 125 years of medical use, ozone therapy is recognized in Germany, Italy, France, Russsia, Romania, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Israel, Japan, Singapore, Brazil, Cuba, Mexico, 4 Canadian provinces and 14 US states (Alaska, Washington, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Georgia, New York, North Carolina, Ohio & Minnesota)
We use a Purifications System cold corona ozone generator to ozonate all of the oils in our organic products, identical to Tesla's design. We've found that other ozone generators can deteriorate over time and contaminate products with lead.
Medical-grade oxygen is pushed through the generator, converting it into Ozone. This is then inserted and diffused into the oils for extended periods of time. The ozone begins to interact and stabilize within the oil. No pathogens can live in the presence of ozone and it infuses your body with pure oxygen!
If kept in a cool, dark space, these potions will retain their benefits for months, even years, if stored properly.
Pure oils that are ozonated for up to 1-3 weeks will retain the benefits of ozone for up to ten years! We use many different ozonated organic oils as bases for our products. We use absolutely NOTHING artificial and no preservatives, additives, fragrances, etc.
