4oz Apricot Kernel Face Scrub & Make-up Remover

This invigorating face scrub also doubles as a great make-up remover! 
You usually don't even need a moisturizer afterward because it's an 
oil-based cleanser.

RECIPE
1/4cup + 3tbsp organic oil (hazelnut, apricot, etc. - we use a blend of 
ozonated olive, hemp seed, sesame, sunflower, & pumpkin seed oils
1tbsp organic ozonated coconut oil
1tbsp wax, 1 tsp ucuuba butter (vegan lanolin substitute)
1/2 cup distilled water or hydrosol (we soak ours in Shasta sage overnight)
1/4 tsp borax, 2 small or 1 large vitamin E capsules, 30+ drops organic 
essential oils
Add crushed apricot kernel seeds as preferred

Creamsicle Blend - Sweet Orange, Tangerine, Ylang Ylang, Lavender & Vanilla
Blemish Blend - Tea Tree, Lavender, Vetiver & Geranium

In one saucepan, heat the oils, butter, and wax until just melted. Remove 
from heat. In another, heat the water or hydrosol and borax until just 
mixed, remove from heat. Add the vitamin E into the oil blend. Pour into a 
blender, cover and turn on low. Add the water base into the vortex. Turning 
on and off a few times and using a spatula, mix well until a thick cream. 
Sprinkle in crushed apricot kernels until you reach the desired amount or 
consistency. Bottle in an amber glass jar.
